On behalf of our client, a Restaurant / Bar Lounge in Salzburg, Austria, we are looking for a Cook (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Italian cuisine, Mediterranean flavors, high-quality ingredients, and creating a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Main duties:

  • Preparing dishes according to the restaurant's standards
  • Working at the assigned kitchen station
  • Preparing the mise en place
  • Preparing Mediterranean and Italian dishes
  • Working with meat, fish, vegetables, pasta, sauces, and side dishes, depending on the candidate's experience
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area
  • Complying with HACCP standards
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and front-of-house service team
  • Working in a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an à la carte menu

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience working as a Cook, Chef de Partie, or Independent/Line Cook
  • Previous experience in Italian, Mediterranean, or à la carte cuisine is preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Speed and organizational skills during service
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
  • Knowledge of German or English is an advantage
